The issue: Your products or services are effective and of great value. But until people buy it, they can’t really tell this is the case. But getting them to be interested to know more about your offerings so they would buy is such a great struggle for you and you keep on looking for ways to change this situation.
For me, this has been the most challenging aspect of being in business in the past. I sincerely and authentically wanted to make a difference to others as a business coach in Sydney, but I felt that I needed to be that salesy, manipulative person who has to hype up my offerings just to be noticed – something I wasn’t comfortable with at all.

But after having spent years of studies, observations, internalising and learning from many mentors, I realised something that brought a great relief.
With the internet playing such a great part in business these days, I don’t need to be someone who I’m not. In fact, I can maximise who I am and still get noticed, valued and recognised.

Expressing our higher potential as entrepreneurs, providing great service to people, and being trustworthy and authentic yet highly persuasive in our marketing, is easier to achieve than we think, once we know how.
We may think that we need to be famous or already have a successful brand to easily get people to pay attention to what we could offer them but this is not necessarily true especially in this "online" world we now live in.
When I first started as a personal development and business coach in such a competitive area like Sydney, I certainly had this limiting belief. And it held me back big time.
But in this new world of business, people look for value first before they pay up. Therefore, we need to be trusted first by those clients that we want to attract.
The good news is that whatever stage you are in your business, whether you’re just starting out or have been around for a while, you can successfully give exceptional value to clients that build trust and make people want what you offer.
Unlocking Your Value
You can do this by creating valuable materials such as information or educational products that they need and want now and answers their most pressing and immediate problem for which you have a solution. And it is seriously easier than you think!
Giving them incredible value right off the bat, before they even buy from you, will answer the most common questions people have when making a buying decision:
1. Does this give me what I need?
2. How do I know this works?
3. How do I know I’m not wasting my time and money?
4. How do I know I can trust this person?
5. How do I know that this is value for money?
This therefore places you at the top of their most trusted, and therefore most sought after, service or product provider.
Most Common Mistake When Making Information Products for Marketing
The most common mistake people make when creating information or educational products for their marketing materials is that there is little or no connection with their target audience in the content. In this day and age of information technology, where content is “king” and everyone is out there to put more and more information, the one who connects most with their prospects wins.
